Monthly Gatherings
We gather each month when the two astrological feminine archetypes, Venus & the Moon meet in the sky. We will tune in and explore the sign they meet under, which changes each month. And walk the triple spiral to the rhythm of the ritual frame drum. As a practice to attend to a personal intention and collectively, to amplify the receptive feminine as a remedy for these transitional times.

Meeting Venus
Join me as we explore Venus’s
19-month cycle with the Sun.
Together, we’ll delve into the ancient Sumerian story of Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth, which provides a cosmological perspective on the Venus-Sun cycle.
There are four key phases of her journey:
-
The Call (interior conjunction)
-
The Descent (the Morning Star)
-
The Underworld (Venus is on the other side of the Sun & invisible to us)
-
The Ascent (the Evening Star)
We will tune into the current Venus phase and the astrological sign Venus and the Moon meet. We will welcome the sky's influence as we shape our focus, for the coming month, whether it's a prayer or an intention.

Walk the Triple Spiral
The triple spiral is an ancient symbol. Rock carvings featuring this design have been found in Ireland, dating to around 3200 BCE, and in Tassili n'Ajjer, Algeria, dating back 7,000 years. No recorded tradition explains its original purpose.
There are many interpretations, including the representation of the three worlds:
-
Present - physical world
-
Spiritual - ancestors
-
Celestial - sun, moon, stars, & planets
Other meanings include the cycle of birth, life, and death, as well as motion, interconnectedness, and life cycles. This symbol is thought to embody medicine for times of endings and beginnings, inviting us to embrace process, wonder, and magic.

Ritual Frame Drum
The steady beat amplifies our heartbeats and attunes us to the pulse of the planet that nurtures us. The rhythm of the drum reminds us of the cyclical nature of life.
For thousands of years, ritual frame drums have supported sacred practices in ancient cultures worldwide, enriching lives and providing notable health benefits. Today, scientific research shows that drumming facilitates synchronisation between the brain's hemispheres and shifts us from the active Beta brain waves (12–35 cycles per second) to the more relaxed, Alpha waves (8–12 cycles per second), fostering introspection and greater access to intuition. Alpha brain waves also enhance creativity, information absorption, and openness to new ideas.
